Lucid Thoughts is the consulting practice of Stephen Walker, a Product Manager and Strategic Designer based in Melbourne, Australia.
I've worked in complex organisations where the gap between strategy and delivery is widest, and the cost of getting it wrong is highest.
What I actually do
Most organisations I work with experience the same problems.
Strategy lives in a deck. Teams work in silos. Nobody's built the foundations for effective collaboration, so every team optimises locally and reactivity takes over. Businesses say they want outcomes but only measure and reward outputs.
Too often, research answers questions nobody needed to ask. I believe that great research starts by knowing which questions matter right now, and stops when the insights are actually usable.
I close all these gaps.
